My name is Tammy Von Allmen. For as long as I can remember I wanted to be a Massage Therapist. I tried college, I moved to a different state, I worked in a mall, I moved again and then became a computer technician for approximately 5 years. None of these "careers" felt right to me.
In 2003, changes at my job created the perfect opportunity for me to enroll in massage school. With the support of my wonderful family, I attended school in the evening and was able to accomplish my goal. I graduated from Milwaukee School of Massage in October 2004.
I spent 2½ years managing my families coffee shop and doing massage part time. During that time I passed my National and State exams and became a Wisconsin Certified Massage Therapist. In May 2006 the coffee shop closed its doors. Often though, when one door closes, one opens and with the continued love and support of my family, I was able to open my own studio in June 2006.
